Medical business: not defined as a primary focus domain, but rather as a business initiative that utilizes our core assets.
Desired state of the business portfolio
To support the sustainable growth of the internal combustion engine (ICE) industry, we will further strengthen our strong ICE business. At the same time, we will leverage the core assets we have cultivated to develop our non-ICE businesses into new pillars that will drive next-generation growth.
We define achieving both of the above as "Business Portfolio Optimization."
